PSA: your vagina is self-cleaning and doesn’t need perfume products to make it smell like flowers. We’ve been working with our partners at WEN to unveil the damaging messaging that comes with perfume-filled period products. In our work, we found some old adverts that lit a fire in our bellies, you can see them for yourself (and what we think of them) on our Instagram here.
Now, we’re on a mission to switch up the messaging on these adverts, and we need your help! We’re hosting a competition (UK-based only) for you to recreate the adverts into something more positive, funny, or aligned with what you want to see from period product and intimate care brands of today. Enter to win a year’s worth of period products and a £50 voucher for The Vegan Kind! Here’s how to get involved:

How to enter
To be in with a chance of winning, follow these steps:
- Post the blank templates of these seriously outdated adverts to your Instagram story with your own text to switch up the messaging. They can be made to be more positive, funny, or whatever you’d like to see changed in these ads. Make sure you tag @natracare and @wen_uk to be entered!
- If your account is private, send your edits straight to us via DM instead.
Terms & conditions
- The winner will be chosen by Natracare based on preference. The result is final, and no discussion will be entered into with regards to the outcome.
- If you win, you will be contacted to request delivery details. If you fail to respond within 48 hours from initial contact, you will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected.
- Upon entering, you give Natracare the right to use your name for the sole purpose of identifying you as a winner of the competition on our blog and social media pages.
- Upon entering, you give Natracare the right to use your FIRST name only and the details of your entry for use in marketing materials (such as blog posts).
- Upon entering, you give Natracare and Wen the right to use the content of your entry on the blog, social media sites, and other marketing collateral. You also give Natracare the right to share the content with appropriate partners.
- If you choose to submit photos as part of your entry you give Natracare and Wen the right to use these photos for marketing and campaigning purposes (in blog posts or on social media).
- Your personal details will not be stored or used after the competition has ended.
- We will only ship to mainland UK.
